Wellness is more than just a “trendy term” – it’s a commitment to a lifestyle that nurtures your complete health and well-being. We need to make a commitment to make this part of our day—it shouldn’t feel like a “diet” or a “fad,” but rather just a way that we operate.

Perfection – We are NOT Robots

I don’t believe there is a secret recipe that includes “perfection”—we will all have our slip-ups (hello, Ben & Jerry’s), be sleep deprived on those “deadline” weeks, and/or forget to “defend the time” to make self-care a priority each week. I get it, we are human, not robots. BUT, I do believe we can all create better systems to improve our health. Perhaps that’s drinking 100 oz of water daily, moving our bodies three days a week, or ensuring we get 7-8 hours of sleep each night. This is a process, and there is no “finish line.” So, let’s give ourselves the grace daily to strive for progress rather than perfection.
